II. Personal Data Collected

To provide our assistance services, we collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity: full name, date of birth, nationality.
  • Contact: email address, phone number, city of residence.
  • Financial: payment information processed by Stripe (we never store card data directly).
  • Coverage: contracted plan, effective dates, policy number.

We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined by the LFPDPPP.

III. Purposes of Processing

Primary purposes (required for the contractual relationship):

  • Execute and fulfill the assistance services contract.
  • Register the policyholder with the service provider (All Assist).
  • Issue the policy number and notify its activation by email.
  • Manage renewals, cancellations, and service modifications.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Secondary purposes (optional):

  • Send commercial communications about new plans or promotions.
  • Conduct satisfaction surveys.

To opt out of secondary purposes, send an email to contacto@caribbeanassistance.mx with the subject "Opt-out secondary purposes". This will not affect your contracted service.

Transfers to recipients located abroad are carried out under contractual clauses that guarantee protection levels equivalent to those of the LFPDPPP.

V. ARCO Rights

You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel, or Object (ARCO rights) to the processing of your personal data, as well as to revoke your consent and limit its use or disclosure.

To exercise these rights:

  1. Send your request to contacto@caribbeanassistance.mx with the subject "ARCO Rights Request".
  2. Include: full name, registered email, clear description of the right you wish to exercise, and a copy of your official ID.

We will respond within 20 business days of receipt. If approved, the action will be effective within the following 15 business days.

VI. Consent Revocation

You may revoke your consent at any time, provided it does not affect the existing contractual relationship. Send your request to the email above with the subject "Consent Revocation".

VII. Cookies

Our website may use session cookies to improve the browsing experience. We do not use cookies to track your behavior on third-party sites or for behavioral advertising. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some site functionality.

VIII. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published at caribbeanassistance.mx/privacidad and, when material, notified by email. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the changes.
